Multiple sensors are placed in zones throughout your home at points of potential flooding. These sensors are mounted on the floor near a potential problem zone, such as behind the toilet, washing machine, dishwasher, or under bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, the water heater, and waterfed refrigerators. If the system sensors detect water, they signal the control panel to have a special valve turn off the main water supply within seconds. With the supply of water turned off, a potential disaster has been averted, saving the devastation, expense and headaches of flood damage and insurance claims.
